秒杀是在瞬间击杀的意思
秒杀是电脑游戏中的名词。指在玩家PK或者是和怪物打斗时，对方过于强大，在玩家没有还手/逃跑余地的情况下，就被杀死,一般指用法力攻击。俗称秒杀。也有把杀字去掉直接叫“秒”某某的。秒杀，也指在极短的时间内杀死敌对单位（或被杀死），但并不是严格的控制在一秒之内，只要是出其不意的快速杀死，基本都算的上秒杀。
秒杀也有形容词，形容秒杀的非常快的叫“瞬秒”——这是一个基于逻辑意义的词汇。也就是"即发生",在攻击者作出攻击指令的同时,目标已经死亡。比如说，WOW中法师使用瞬发的火焰冲击攻击一个低等级的目标就属于这种情况。但实际上大多数此类情况都属于：攻击指令的作出和目标死亡在两次游戏画面刷新之间完成，使之看上去是瞬间发生的。（如果从计算机计算的角度，就是在一次全加运算中，HP的数值一次性被减为0以下这种情况）
现在这个词被用在很多地方！例如：NBA中的秒杀

秒杀即为本场的最后一投，不给别人留时间。在NBA中我们经常会看见球员在比赛即将结束时投中一个球，获得胜利，进球后已经没有时间，其实就是绝杀后比赛就结束。
NBA中秒杀次数最多的是保罗皮尔斯，在2006年12月9日时便已拥有6次秒杀，垄断NBA秒杀记录。
淘宝“秒杀”是什么意思？
即淘宝店铺中的新货上架后，在几分钟之内被抢购一空，一看交易记录，都是以秒为间隔成交的。听起来是不是不可思议，但确实是真的，这就叫“秒杀”。
